Reportedly sperm donations are up at sperm banks because of the economic situation. Now I know it is easier to donate sperm than a woman donating eggs, but I know some women still do that. What do you think of donating sperm or eggs? You’re giving your DNA to someone to have a baby. And biologically it is yours. Now you won’t ever know if your sperm was used, or who your eggs were give to, but wouldn’t it make you feel odd to know that there might be a child out there that looks like you? Of course that doesn’t make you a “dad” or a “mom”. I think those terms are reserved for the people who actually rear us.
